Deng Qiyao: Deng Qiyao is a Professor of Anthropology at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou. An expert in folklore, visual anthropology, and ethnic minority research, he is Honorary Vice President of the China Exploration Association, Honorary Member of the Centre for U.S.-China Art Exchange at Columbia University in New York, and the China head of the US-China led "Ethnic Culture Fieldwork Group".
