Wensupu Yang

Hi, my name is Wensupu “Wen” Yang. I’m originally from Dali, China, and now based in London. By day, I work as an AI startup founder and a foresight consultant, and in my free time, I volunteer with MBL.

Music has always been a way for me to connect with my roots, and I enjoy playing the bamboo flute. During the 2025 Lunar New Year, I stood by the banks of the Thames, beneath the London Eye, letting the melodies of Spring Festival Overture and Unforgettable Night drift through the evening air. Through these tunes, I hoped to bring warmth, nostalgia, and the spirit of celebration to those around me, sharing a piece of home with the city I now call home.

Through my music and work, I hope to bridge Chinese culture with the West, fostering understanding, connection, and shared celebration across cultures.

我钟情于竹笛演奏，将音乐视作连结文化的桥梁。2025蛇年春节来临之际之际，我在泰晤士河畔，伦敦眼之下，街头竹笛演奏年味民乐曲，如《春节序曲》、《难忘今宵》，共庆佳节。我希望能为周围的人们带来温暖的慰藉，传递节庆的喜悦，在这座已成为新家园的城市里，与众人共享一份来自故土的文化馈赠。

不论是透过音乐创作还是专业实践，我都致力于搭建中西文化对话的通道，促进跨文化理解与情感共鸣，让不同文明在交流中共创值得铭记的庆典时刻。
