MBL Adoptive Families

MBL文化立交桥之一，即生养文化之桥。MBL积极响应联合国有关‘坦诚面对历史，展开领养探讨，救助失散亲人’的倡议，在世界各地调研并探索如何帮助约16万被二十逾国收养的中国孤儿，为他们建立了‘MBL支持陪伴被领养者寻亲访祖的救助系统’，并在被领养孩子们成长的西方社区与学校积极提供华夏传统文化活动的支持，帮助华裔孩子自幼感受和自豪华夏文化的博大精深，以此感召西方家庭与学童对中国文化的向往与学习中文的兴趣。

Another one of the bridges is that of birth and adoption. MBL has actively responded to the United Nations initiative of “honestly facing history and opening the discussion on adoption and helping the lost families”. We have researched and explored ways to help the 160,000 Chinese orphans who have been adopted by people in more than 20 countries around the world. For them, we set up the MBL support system to accompany the adoptees in their search for families and ancestors. MBL also provided support for cultural activities in Western communities and schools where the adoptees grew up so that Chinese children can experience and take pride in the richness of Chinese culture from an early age. In doing so, we can also inspire Western families and schoolchildren to gain interest in Chinese culture and the Chinese language.

随着被领养中国孩子们的成长，多国被领养者自发成立了自救互助社团。母爱桥正在探索与筹划如何在各国的领养者之间构建一个网上的对话平台，为被各国领养者提供更多相知互助的条件，为他们的未来营造一个国际大家庭。

As they grow up, adoptees from many countries have independently set up self-help and mutual support organizations. MBL is planning to build an online platform for dialogues and conversations between adoptees from different countries to help them get to know each other and build an international family for them in the future.
