母爱桥支持中国作家雪漠亮相2023伦敦书展

MBL（The Mother's Bridge of Love ）Supports Chinese Author Xue Mo At 2023 London Book Fair

 4月18日至20日，2023年伦敦书展在英国伦敦奥林匹亚展览中心举办。作家雪漠是今年唯一一位在伦敦书展有个人独立展台的中国作家。雪漠作品立足西部乡土，是中国西部文学的旗帜。同时，雪漠也是一位道行精深的密宗噶举派修行者和启迪人心的传统文化研究者。他将释、道哲学融入作品，成为中国道家哲学的传道士和“根髓文化”的倡导者。

From April 18th to 20th, the 2023 London Book Fair was held at the Olympia Exhibition Center in London, UK. Mr Xue Mo is the only Chinese author who set up his own stand at the London Book Fair this year. Xue Mo's works root deeply in the countryside of inland frontier of the western China, and thus a fluttering banner of the western Chinese literature. Xue Mo is also a dedicating practitioner of Kagyu Buddhism and an enlightening readers of traditional Chinese culture. He infused Tibetan Buddhism and Taoism thoughts into his writings, becoming the evangelist of Taoist philosophy and an advocate of "root essence culture".

 19日下午，在母爱桥MBL（The Mothers’ Bridge of Love）的协助下，雪漠就其作品《沙漠的女儿（Into the desert）》在伦敦书展外文局（CIGC）展位举办主题为”文学见证女性力量“的文学研讨会。母爱桥学者谭思未（Shelly）、田天等受邀参与此次研讨。

In the afternoon of the 19th, with the help of MBL, Mr. Xue Mo held the literary seminar “Witness the feminine powers in literature” on his novel Into The Desert at the CIGC booth at the London Book Fair, and MBL’s scholar Shelly Tan and Tian Tian were invited to participate the discussion.

20日下午，应母爱桥邀请，英国女性历史学家、汉学家和翻译家蓝诗玲（Julia Lovell）与雪漠老师，其团队成员及母爱桥志愿者们在北伦敦会面，探讨雪漠老师作品在英出版事宜。

 In the afternoon of the 20th, the MBL invited the British female historian, sinologist and translator, Julia Lovell to meet with Mr. Xuemo, his team and MBL’s volunteers in northern London. On the meeting, the participants  discussed the possibility of publication of Mr. Xuemo's works in the UK.

伦敦书展是仅次于法兰克福书展的世界第二大国际图书版权交易会，此次书展共有来自全球60多个国家和地区的逾1600家出版企业及机构参展。在母爱桥MBL国际文化慈善机构的牵线搭桥下，央视一套、欧洲时报和ChinaDaily等国内外主流媒体争相报道了雪漠老师在书展期间的活动。

 The London Book Fair is one of the largest international book rights fair and  only second to the Frankfurt Book Fair.  Over 1,600 publishing companies and institutions from more than 60 countries and regions around the world gathered under the roof of Olympia London this year and exhibited their latest publications. The MBL liaised between news agencies around the world and Mr. Xue Mo, and his days in the Book Fair were actively covered by CCTV, China Daily and European Times.

21日下午，在母爱桥的邀请与组织下，雪漠老师与一众中英作者们参加了“在英写作与出版”茶话会，进一步强化中西文化交流之桥。

In the afternoon of the 21st, at the invitation of MBL， Mr. Xue Mo met a passionate assembly of Chinese and British authors on the tea party titled "Writing and Publishing in Britain”. The aim of this meeting is to strengthen further the bridge between Chinese and Western cultures, one of the three bridges crossing nations, social classes and generations that MLB has been dedicating to build in the last 18 years.
